Grieving But Silent & Anointed
In today’s episode of Another Day In His Steps, we step into one of the most sobering chapters in Scripture — Leviticus 10, where the fire of God doesn’t fall in favor, but in judgment. Nadab and Abihu — freshly anointed, newly ordained — offer unauthorized fire before the Lord… and are consumed by holy fire in a moment. And right in the middle of the shock, the grief, and the weight of loss, we read: “Aaron remained silent.” What do you do when pain hits while you're still holding the oil? When you're anointed — but grieving? When obedience is required in the middle of heartbreak? This isn’t just a story of judgment — it’s a window into the cost of holiness, the weight of calling, and the kind of obedience that worships even without words. 💧 Grief isn’t wrong. 🔥 But obedience is still holy. 🕊️ And the oil is still on you. This episode is for the leaders who are still standing when it would be easier to collapse… For the faithful ones carrying quiet pain, but staying at the altar anyway. Let God meet you in the tension. Let obedience rise. Let silence speak louder than sorrow. Don’t miss this call back to the altar. The oil hasn’t lifted. The call hasn’t changed. And His presence is still holy. Connect: 📧 dave@seerandscribes.com 🎙 Another Day with Jesus – Apostle Priji Varghese 🔥 The Best Podcast on the Planet 🏠 Hisnearness Church – Horamavu Campus
